Study Abroad Programs
What is a Study Abroad Program? “Study abroad†is an experience intended to replace a semester, summer or year of study at your home institution (university or college) with academic study at a foreign university.
By selecting an appropriate program for your needs and working with the academic advisors and study abroad office at your institution, you can typically earn academic credit for your study abroad experience and continue to work toward your degree.
What programs are available through the HSAS? All Global Learning Semesters semester-long programs are eligible for the Hispanic Study Abroad Scholars Program.
Global Learning Semesters currently offers 35 study abroad programs that take students to over 60 destinations, from Belmopan to Beijing, in over 20 countries around the world.
All programs are offered in partnership with leading academic institutions including Intercollege, the University of Paris IV (Sorbonne) and the University of Alcalá de Henares, Galen University and London Metropolitan University. We will shortly offer additional program bases in Europe, Asia and Latin America.
