How Students Apply Applying to the HSAS program is very straightforward for students.If students attend a HACU institution that has registered as an HGA Affiliate and are applying to a Global Learning Semesters program, they will be asked to write a brief personal statement on their online application. The aplying students should mention in their personal statement that they are applying for the HSAS scholarship and include a paragraph explaining how they believe Study Abroad will be important to their personal and career development. Once they are admitted, we will forward their details to an authorized representative from your institution who will select the HSAS scholarship receipient for that semester if there is more than one student applying from your school. You must ensure that your institution is registered as an HSAS affiliate so that we are able to identify your applicants and forward their scholarship applications to you. Whoever is registered as the authorized representative from your institution will select the HSAS scholarship receipient for that semester based on criteria that the institution selects. |
